Occupational Therapist   Job Summary: To provide high quality Occupational Therapy Assessments, and other relevant support to disabled people. Main Duties and Responsibilities: To carry out full functional assessments and provide appropriate recommendations. To formulate specifications/ Design Briefs for Major Adaptations To complete an agreed target number of assessments and follow ups each week. To complete all forms in relation to the occupational therapy process e.g. assessment form, equipment order forms, wheelchair referral forms etc. To produce written reports as required e.g. housing To manage time and case load effectively. To liaise with members of a multi disciplinary team as required e.g. care managers, representatives, technical officers, and surveyors. If office based: To support office based senior Occupational Therapist and administrators in relation to contract requirements To assist with administrative duties in answering enquiries from clients and care managers in relation to occupational therapy.. Provide cover for other staff during periods of annual leave, sickness etc. Any other duties appropriate to the post as may be required.
