Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
To provide high quality Occupational Therapy Assessments, and other
relevant support to disabled people.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•
To carry out full functional assessments and provide appropriate
recommendations.
•
To formulate specifications/ Design Briefs for Major Adaptations
•
To complete an agreed target number of assessments and follow
ups each week.
•
To complete all forms in relation to the occupational therapy
process e.g. assessment form, equipment order forms,
wheelchair referral forms etc.
•
To produce written reports as required e.g. housing
•
To manage time and case load effectively.
•
To liaise with members of a multi disciplinary team as required
e.g. care managers, representatives, technical officers, and
surveyors.
•
If office based: To support office based senior Occupational
Therapist and administrators in relation to contract requirements
•
To assist with administrative duties in answering enquiries from
clients and care managers in relation to occupational therapy..
•
Provide cover for other staff during periods of annual leave,
sickness etc.
•
Any other duties appropriate to the post as may be required.
