Home Care refers to assistance with routine domestic tasks that a person temporarily finds difficult or have now become impossible. This could be due to a short illness, surgery, or because of an on-going health condition. Home Care Just some of the areas Dependability can assist with: Shopping and buying food Hospital visits Cooking Cleaning Companionship Other domestic tasks. Home Care may be provided on a daily basis or on an agreed schedule. Information on Terminology Home Care Services’ and Personal Care’ are general terms often used when people need extra help with household cleaning, preparing meals, getting dressed, or support with shopping. What is a Care Package? A Care Package is a combination of services put together to meet a person’s need as part of a Care Plan. What is a Care Plan? How we can Help You Our kind, trained, staff will help you to stay in control of your life, helping you in a compassionate, caring, discreet and dignified way. We support you in recovering lost independence, and help you to regain skills for a more independent life in your own home. Dependability provide a flexible range of services meeting the varying needs of different people at different times. We have been helping people to remain in their own homes as independently as possible for over 20 years. How will Care be Arranged? A Dependability manager will visit you and your family at home or in hospital to agree what assistance you require. We will listen and take account of your needs. Based on our visit we will produce a Care Plan. Each visit will be carefully tailored to your particular needs, and the Care Plan will be regularly reviewed with you. Deciding My Care Needs Many people requiring care for the first time don’t know what kind of support they require. To help you decide the areas you need assistance with, please download and complete our Self-Assessment Care Needs Form. We will then discuss this with you when we visit.
