Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary
Disease, or COPD, is a group of
lung conditions that make it
difficult to empty air out of the
lungs because airways have
been narrowed.
Two of these lung conditions are
persistent bronchitis and
emphysema, and these can
occur together.

How we can help
We understand everyday tasks are very difficult when you can’t get your
breath.
We can help you to manage your situation doing the essential things
and taking care of routine tasks.
Our kind, compassionate, experienced care staff can support you with:

The hard chores, leaving you free to do as much as you can
yourself
•
Activities that require a lot of oxygen and make you breath hard
such as hoovering and changing beds
•
Taking precription medications
•
Going out to your usual places by wheelchair
•
Shopping and visits such as to hospital.

can:

Specify and arrange Major Adaptations to your home to enable
you to access the shower with less exertion.
•
Assist with getting upstairs without moving house
•
Provide chair solutions to take the exertion out of standing up
•
Provide Daily Living Equipment to help you sit up in bed
•
Help you apply for a Taxi Card or a Blue Badge.
